 mme information\nIndex Cantorum celebrates the official recognition of St 
 Cross on the ‘St James’ Way’ with a selection of sacred and secular 
 choral music on the theme of pilgrimage and travels. A short concert with 
 a wide variety of musical styles is presented in a programme lasting under
  an hour. Works featured in the programme include Renaissance music dedica
 ted to both St James and ‘Holy Cross.’ More contemporary pieces link S
 t Cross Church and the Water- meadows to a travelling theme\, not just on 
 a pilgrims route but also those who travel past it\, as walkers or runners
 . Composers include Victoria\, Byrd\, Pearsall\, Chilcott and Stanford\, a
 s well as a medieval song from a guidebook to journeying as a pilgrim on t
 he Camino de Santiago. \n\nINDEX CANTORUM is a well-established chamber ch
 oir that delights in combining their\nEarly Music specialism with other fa
 miliar or newly commissioned repertoire\, to create\nstimulating performan
 ces. INDEX CANTORUM has performed regularly in Winchester\, in the cathedr
 al and local churches\, and also in East Meon and Bishops Sutton churches.
  The choir has also sung in Salisbury and Chichester Cathedrals\, and in t
 he Stockbridge Music series. Their January Surround Sound pop-up concert i
 n Winchester Cathedral nave is a regular local fixture\, eagerly anticipat
 ed\, now running in its 10th year. INDEX CANTORUM is excited to be making 
 their first appearance in the Perfect Pitch Lunchtime Concert series at St
