The Funny Bones Trombone Quartet from The Royal Academy of Music
The Funny Bones were formed at the Royal Academy of Music, bonded
over their mutual love of chamber music and the way it can be performed so uniquely
through the trombone. The group of young musicians perform a wide variety of
repertoire, ranging from the most traditional of music written specifically for the
instrument, to arrangements of vocal or other instrumental music, amassing a wide array
of styles.
The quartet’s members include Jack Myles, Miguel Zoco Sesma and Amelia Lewis on
tenor trombone, and Cameron Bahmaie on bass trombone, with Amelia being the group’s lead contact.
