 \nWe welcome Joshua to The Chapel at St. Cross\, where there is a fine Jos

 , No. 1\n\n\nSub-Organist at Winchester Cathedral\, Joshua Stephens is ack
 nowledged as one of Britain’s “most brilliant and exciting musicians
 ” (Leeds Inspired). As an organist and conductor\, he has broadcast live
  on BBC Radio 3\, performed on national television\, and guest conducted t
 he City of London Sinfonia and The Sixteen.\nAs a solo recitalist\, Joshua
  is acclaimed\, with performances at Wells\, Hereford\, Truro\, Liverpool 
 Anglican and Metropolitan Cathedrals\, Selby Abbey (Celebrity Recital Seri
 es)\, and Leeds Town Hall (Leeds International Concert Series). He has col
 laborated with actress Maxine Peake in Manchester International Festival T
 he Masque of Anarchy\, and has participated in numerous masterclasses\, mo
 st notably with Jacques van Oortmerssen\, and Olivier Latry.\n​​Prior 
 to his role at Winchester Cathedral\, Joshua was founding Director of Musi
 c at Steel City Choristers\, Assistant and Acting Director of Music at She
 ffield Cathedral\, and Second Assistant Organist at Wells Cathedral. He co
 mpleted his undergraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music\,
  graduating with a First-Class degree with Honours\, studying the organ wi
 th Darius Battiwalla and Thomas Trotter.\n\n
