DESCRIPTION:Katie Gilbert - Soprano     Michael Hodges - Piano\n\nKatie 
 Gilbert is a local soprano and singing teacher\, and a graduate of both Ro
 yal Birmingham Conservatoire and the University of Oxford. Originally from
  the North East\, she moved from London to Winchester two years ago with h
 er young family. Currently she teaches singing at Winchester College\, and
  has performed in concerts and recitals across the country. Katie also enj
 oys leading local community singing groups and helping others to flourish 
 musically. \n\nMichael Hodges read music at Durham where he was Organ Sch
 olar at University College. He subsequently studied singing at the Guildha
 ll\, sang bass with the BBC Symphony Chorus and directed the Nonsuch Singe
 rs of London. After a professional career in banking\, he now freelances a
 s Organist\, Pianist and Conductor. He has played at many UK cathedrals an
 d London churches and conducts the St Martin’s Singers\, a Devon based c
 hoir specialising in foreign tours.\n\nKatie and Michael will perform song
 s by Vaughan Williams\, Howells\, Grieg\, Duparc \n\nand a selection of fo
 lk songs
