Strauss - Introduction\, Theme\, a nd Variations\, Op.13\n\nBrahms - Sonata Movement (Scherzo) in C minor\, W oO 2\, from the F.A.E Sonata\n\nBach - Partita for solo violin no.2 in D m inor\, BWV 1004: Sarabanda and Giga \n\nFranck - Sonata for Piano and Vio lin in A major\, movements 3 and 4\n\nFreya’s first instrument was the v iolin\, which she started playing at the age of 5.  She has played in the Hampshire County Youth String Orchestra\, and for the last 3 years has b een a member of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra and Hampshire County Youth Chamber Orchestra\, with whom she has enjoyed the opportunity to pla y overseas in addition to across Hampshire.  Whilst at St.Swithun’s Sc hool\, where she was a Music Exhibitioner\, she has been a member of sever al ensembles\, including chamber and baroque groups.  She recently obtain ed a distinction in her ARSM Diploma for performance on the violin.\n\nFre ya’s introduction to brass instruments initially came through playing th e cornet in the Andover Town Band junior group\, following which she moved across to the French Horn when she was 10.
