SUMMARY:PERFECT PITCH LUNCHTIME CONCERT
DESCRIPTION:St Peter's Primary School\, Winchester\nAt St Peter's Primary S
 chool\, music is a central part of our school life.  We have over 130 chi
 ldren receiving instrumental lessons each week\, and we are extremely prou
 d of our school orchestra.  This ensemble consists of thirty of our instr
 umentalists ranging from age 8 to 11.  We rehearse weekly after school\, 
 and play a range of styles and genres.  As developing musicians\, the orc
 hestra offers a wonderful opportunity for children to play together and de
 velop their instrumental and ensemble skills.  \nSt Peter's Primary have
  recently been made a Lead School for Music in Hampshire.  This appointme
 nt recognises our commitment to music and the power that this has in young
  people's lives.  We work closely with Hampshire Music Hub to support oth
 er schools in their music provision and to promote good practice.  We do 
 hope you enjoy our concert\, and that you experience a little of the joy t
 hat making music brings to us!
