DESCRIPTION:Ella Orehek-Coddington - Mezzo Soprano   Daniel Silcock - Pia
 no\n\nFrom the Royal Academy of Music\n\nElla Orehek-Coddington\, mezzo-so
 prano\, is in her first year of the Royal Academy of\nMusic’s opera prog
 ram\, under the tutelage of Catherine Wyn-Rogers and Jonathan\nPapp\, and 
 supported by a Bicentenary Scholarship and the Carr-Gregory Trust. She is\
 nalso supported by the Tait Memorial Trust\, Help Musicians UK and The Ian
  Potter\nFoundation. She recently won first prize in this year’s Blyth-B
 uesst Operatic Award at\nthe Academy.\nElla graduated from the Academy’s
  master’s programme in 2024 and was awarded the\nDiploma of the Royal Ac
 ademy of Music for her outstanding final recital. She previously\nstudied 
 a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) at the Sydney Conservatorium of\
 nMusic\, and has a Diploma of Language Studies from the University of Sydn
 ey. Ella\npreviously studied with Barry Ryan OAM and Janet Haney\, and has
  undertaken\nmasterclasses with Susan Bullock CBE and Gerald Finley OC CBE
 .\nShe has performed in various opera productions\, including the role of 
 die Mutter in\nHänsel und Gretel\, Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovann
 i\, Mrs Grose in Britten’s The\nTurn of the Screw\, the title role in Ma
 scagni’s Zanetto and Dido in Purcell’s Dido and\nAeneas.\n\nBen Markov
 ic is a first-year Masters student in Ensemble Piano at the Royal\nAcademy
  of Music\, studying with James Cheung and Joseph Middleton. He read\nmusi
 c and held the organ scholarship at Queens’ College Cambridge\, and has\
 nheld scholarship positions at Worcester Cathedral and St Stephen’s\, Wa
 lbrook with\nSt Martin-inthe-Fields.\nAlongside his degree\, Ben is active
  as a freelancing keyboard player\, teacher and\nconductor\, working frequ
 ently with the Rodolfus Foundation and National\nChildren’s Choir of Gre
 at Britain\, and has performed with ensembles including the\nAcademy of St
  Martin-in-the-Fields\, the St Martin Chamber Ensemble and London\nChoral 
 Sinfonia.\nHe also holds the post of Director of Music at St Mary’s\, Ba
 rnes\, and is a Fellow of\nthe Royal College of Organists. Away from the p
 iano\, Ben enjoys reading\, cooking\,\nexploring the countryside on long w
 alks and wearing funky socks.\n\n&nbsp\;
