Chinese soprano Isabel Xu is an emerging artist
on the international opera scene, currently
completing her Master of Performance in Vocal
and Opera at the Royal College of Music in
London. She previously earned her Bachelor of
Music in Vocal Performance from the Central
Conservatory of Music in Beijing.

Isabel has already garnered notable performance
experience across both the UK and China. She
recently appeared as the soprano soloist in
Poulenc’s Gloria with the RCM Symphony
Orchestra and Chorus under the baton of Sofi
Jeannin. Her operatic experience also include

Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore in a full-
stage production in Beijing.

Collaborative pianist Yiwei Deng has received recognition in piano
accompaniment competitions, further demonstrating her potential and skill as a
promising collaborative pianist.

Yiwei Deng has gained recognition in piano accompaniment competitions, having
been highly commended in the Guildhall Jubilee Piano Accompaniment
Competition and receiving the Outstanding Performance Award at the National
Collaborative Piano Competition in China.
She has also participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Ralf
Gothóni and Gordon Back, further honing her skills as a collaborative pianist.
