Queentet – Brass Quintet

Queentet are an emerging all-female brass quintet studying at the Royal Academy
of Music from Australia, Sweden, Scotland, and England. Our members study with
leading orchestral players based in the UK and beyond. Members of Queentet
have previously performed with ensembles such as the Gothenburg Symphony
Orchestra, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta Academy,
Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra of Great
Britain and have performed in venues such as Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall,
Sinfonia Smith Square, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and Cadogan Hall. Queentet
are excited to be part of a new generation of female brass players, aiming to
highlight music from previously under-represented composers. Upcoming
engagements involve a lunchtime concert at the Royal Academy of Music
featuring female composers in early 2025.
